The room featured stunning sea views that added a unique charm to the stay. Relaxing in the footbath outside was a pleasant and refreshing experience.
Getting to the hotel took longer than expected with heavy luggage, as it was about a 20-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The futon mattresses on the floor were quite thin, which took some adjusting to for comfort. Breakfast included a pre-prepared Japanese meal that might not appeal to all tastes, lacking any Western options.

Our family had a memorable stay in a quadruple room with a stunning sea view that included a cozy traditional tatami area. My kids loved the relaxing footbath in the garden, and being able to bring our dog along was a real plus for us!
My kids wished for more dining options for picky eaters.

Recommend it for couples
Our stay was memorable , from the moment we walked in. They had comfy Yukatas ready for us, which added to the whole experience. The staff were remarkable , going the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of.
It wasn’t cheap , but still acceptable.

The staff demonstrated genuine hospitality, with kind assistance throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the expertly prepared Japanese breakfast, which varied each day and included a vegetarian option upon request. However, getting to the hotel from the ferry terminal was challenging with heavy luggage due to rough walkways. The lack of diverse dining options, considering dietary restrictions, also posed a challenge in satisfying everyone's preferences.

The room with a sea view was stunning and just a short drive to Daisho-in and the trailhead. The free shuttle service was super convenient. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the kaiseki dinner. Staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable.
However, I felt the breakfast selection could be limited for those who aren't fans of traditional Japanese cuisine.
